Most events are held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 15 Pearl Street, Mystic, CT 06355. Events held at other locations are emphasized by this font. Holy days and most secular holidays are noted this way. 5 Epiphany, for example, means the 5th Sunday after The Epiphany.
Daily or weekly events, such as Morning Prayer, the Holy Eucharist at StoneRidge, are described in detail on the Description & Schedule of Services Page, along with some monthly events such as the Healing Service.
Some of February's Special Events:

February 2012 Special Events
Mission trip to St. Luc's, Haiti – February 9 through 14, 2012
A mission group from St. Mark's will be heading to St. Luc's Church and School in Mercery, Haiti on February 9th.
Members of the mission group have been working on learning Haitian Creole in preparation for the trip. The trip isn't just social, however. The group will be building new desks and benches for the school. Fr. Kerwin Delicat, priest in charge, said "This is more than important for the school at this time, because actually many school kids are using blocks to sit [on] while they are at school."
Please keep the mission group in your prayers. Please contact Tim Evers or Fr. Mark for more information.

The Diocese of Connecticut is divided into 14 geographic areas called deaneries.
"Deaneries were originally seen as a streamlined way to get information distributed from the bishops to the clergy and congregations in parishes. That purpose waned over the years with the advent of electronic communication, but the concept of meeting and organizing in groups smaller than the entire diocese - which includes over 170 parishes and hundreds of clergy - continues to hold value for the bishops as well as those within the deaneries.
"Deaneries hold meetings to elect deans and subdeans, elect representatives to the diocesan executive council, and meet to consider the proposed diocesan budget and proposed resolutions in advance of the annual diocesan convention. Deanery approval is needed by parishes or other local organizations seeking diocesan Mission Development Grants. Clergy meet by deaneries, in "clericus" meetings, and confirmations are organized by deaneries."
The three paragraphs quoted above are from the Episcopal Diocese of Connecticut Web Site. Calling the Seabury Deanery "An association of the Episcopal Churches in New London County" is not entirely accurate. The Seabury Deanery Site (WWW.SeaburyDeanery.Org) has much more information which is specific to the Seabury Deanery.

Handbell Choir Reunion – Near Easter, 2012
A bell choir reunion is planned for some time around Easter. Ringers who were once in St. Mark's bell choir are being encouraged to return, and new ringers are welcome.
Please talk to David Tubbs, Organist and Director of Music, for information. (It is very, very difficult for your WebMaster to avoid puns such as "chime in".)
