Christian Education Committee   St. Mark's Episcopal Church Mystic, Connecticut

Our mission is to teach our children and youth what it means to be a Christian, to share our Episcopal tradition, to nurture their spirituality, and to include them in the community of this parish.

Our objective is to include as many people as possible in the important and enjoyable work of the Christian Education of our youth.

The committee meets at least once a quarter to oversee the Church School and related activities.

St. Mark's Church School is "Living the Good News". The curriculum offers complete and easy-to-use lesson plans that are both fun and spiritually rich. Several current Church School teachers will be serving as mentors. We encourage everyone to consider helping with Church School as a teacher.

In addition to providing support to all teachers, the committee plans to sponsor some activities that will be inspirational and fun.
