After the 10 AM Easter Sunday service the young people of St. Mark's hunt for Easter eggs.

Many thanks to Bob Welt for these photographs!

Fr. Mark attempting to bring order to the start of the Easter Egg Hunt

Fr. Mark attempted to bring order to the start of the Easter Egg Hunt by asking specific age groups to hunt in certain areas.

The people who hid the eggs for the smaller children found places that made it easier for the eggs to be found, while eggs were hidden in more creative places for adolescents. This helps provide more challenge to older kids while making it possible for younger kids to be successful.

Improvising an embellishment to an Easter hat Everyone's a critic of the fashion-forward

Some people improvised changes to their Easter hats. Some of the new looks were more successful than others.

(It seems that the fashion-forward always receive criticism.)

Hunting or playing peek-a-boo? This young lady gets into her work

Yes, there is a small person behind the bush on the left.

Some people really get into their hunt, while others just egg them on.

She's head-over-heels in her hunt She's thinking outside the box

Some people got so engrossed in their work that you might say they were head-over-heels in it, ...

... resourceful people were said to think outside the box, ...

Searching high Searching low

... and other folks searched high and low.

Once in a while two people spotted the same egg at the same time, ... Two egg hunters spy one egg ... but only one searcher was accused of fowl play. Duck for Easter

High excitment Calm enjoyment

Styles varied widely, from the excitement of "Hooray!" through "This is fun, but I'm getting chilly." to lady-like reserve.

Carefully studying the egg What are those people doing, mom?

Sometimes it was fun to watch the other people hunting.

A few people were so taken in by the eggs that they wanted to study them more closely.

Feet get tired quickly in new shoes

When the hunt was over, and feet were tired of new shoes, it was time to relax.

Hanging out with grand dad

Special thanks to Bob Welt for these fine photographs of the future of St. Mark's!

Bob clearly enjoyed the Easter Egg Hunt because of the company of a special young lady.
