St. Mark's is located in the village of Mystic, Connecticut, an unincorporated locality. The western part of the village of Mystic is located in the Town of Groton. The eastern portion of Mystic is in the Town of Stonington. The Mystic River (two blocks east of St. Mark's!) separates Groton and Stonington.

Not far away is New London, with a railroad station, ferry service to Long Island and Fishers Island, the Coast Guard Academy, Connecticut College, and much more. New London Main Street is a New London-based organization committed to revitalizing New London's downtown Historic Waterfront District.

Your whole family will enjoy the Denison Pequotsepos Nature Center. Open year-round, the non-profit Nature Center offers both indoor exhibits and miles of trails.

The Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce can provide you with information on everything from pizza to buying a home.
