The young people of St. Mark's acted the story of the lost sheep, the lost coin, and the prodigal son the during the 10 AM service on Sunday, February 20, 2011.

A big "Thank you!" to the Godly Play groups of St. Mark's for acting and sharing one of their stories with us! Thanks to the Church School teachers, Godly Play story tellers, and helpers who work so hard to ensure the Christian education of our children.

Would you consider joining Michael, Connie, and the rest of the Godly Play and Church School? The national trainers are coming to St. Mark's from Friday, March 9, 2012 through Sunday, March 11, 2012. Please contact Michael for complete details.

The prodigal son takes his fortune and seeks adventure.
The prodigal son gambles away part of his money.
False friends are ready to ''help'' enjoy life, until the prodigal's money is gone.
The prodigal son, forced to eat food worse than pig slops, dressed in rags, friendless, yearns for home.
The grateful father runs and embraces the prodigal son ...
... and dresses the prodigal son in a fine robe.
The faithful son who stayed at home confronts his father.
The father ensures the faithful son of his love and gratitude.
Younger Church School children watch in rapt attention.
Father Mark tells the story of the one lost sheep.
Wondering aloud after the story is part of Godly Play.
