The 2010 Lenten Programs at St. Mark's Episcopal Church include three activities:: The Way of the Cross (also known as the Stations of the Cross); Haiti: Problem and Promise; Contemplative Eucharist and Service of Healing for Ourselves and Our World

The 2010 Holy Week and Easter schedule is listed below.

The Way of the Cross

Every Friday in Lent, beginning at 6:00 PM

Join us in this simple and moving Lenten remembrance of Jesus's journey to the cross. This observance was brought home by pilgrims to Jerusalem who had retraced Jesus's steps and found it extremely meaningful.

Haiti: Problem and Promise

Sunday mornings from February 21^st through March 21^st during the Adult Forum beginning at 9:00 AM

Please note that the February 21^st Forum is suitable for both children and adults. This series will help us better understand our connections with Haiti. Please see the Adult Forum Page for details and more information.

Contemplative Eucharist and Service of Healing for Ourselves and Our World

Wednesday evenings at 7:00 PM
February 24^th, March 3^rd, 10^th, 17^th, and 24^th

Our Wednesday evenings this Lent will be spent in prayer for the healing of our world and of ourselves. We will include healing for Haiti and its people, other global and local concerns as well as our traditional attention to healing for our ourselves and our loved ones.

Each service will include anointing and laying on of hands, and prayers for healing, silence for contemplation, and the nourishment of the Lord's Supper.
