Whether you live in the Groton, Connecticut region, are visiting the Mystic area, have moved to Southeastern Connecticut, or are looking for a church home, please join us at St. Mark's Episcopal Church for Sunday worship and other activities! The current calendar lists events happening this month.

December brings the season Advent, the holy anticipation of the birth of Jesus Christ.

Saint Mark's welcomes you to join in the joy-filled celebration.

This year St. Mark's Episcopal Church has scheduled a "Blue Christmas Service", a service of light and loss to help those who are grieving. This service is designed to offer people a safe, contemplative, and prayerful place to worship as an alternative or counterpart to the more festive and jubilant services of Christmas Eve.

Please be sure to check the calendar for this month to see of all the scheduled activities.

Please join us on the Groton side of the Mystic River and enjoy a warm, friendly welcome!

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is located in historic downtown Mystic, Connecticut. Located on the banks of the Mystic River, in the towns Groton and Stonington, Mystic was originally a major shipbuilding center. St. Mark's is minutes from world-class attractions for the whole family, such as Mystic Seaport Museum. Mystic Seaport will transport you back to another era, when wooden ships with canvas sails provided the only means of transporting goods over the oceans. Less than six minutes away, Mystic Aquarium is much more than just tanks of fish. At Mystic Aquarium you will see Beluga whales, Stellar sea lions, and North African penguins. As a centerpiece of southeastern Connecticut, downtown Mystic is known for its unique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Everywhere you turn you will see the kind of scenic beauty that takes your breath away.
