The search process for a new Rector is well under way.

The Search Committee has been meeting for a several months, working to describe St. Mark's Parish accurately, select Rector candidates, and present our potential new priest to the Vestry. Please keep them in your prayers!

Please join us on the Groton side of the Mystic River and enjoy a warm, friendly welcome!

St. Mark's Episcopal Church is located in historic downtown Mystic, Connecticut. Located on the banks of the Mystic River, between Groton and Stonington, Mystic was originally a major shipbuilding center. St. Mark's is minutes from world-class attractions for the whole family, such as Mystic Seaport Museum. Mystic Seaport will transport you back to another era, when wooden ships with canvas sails provided the only means of transporting goods over the oceans. Less than six minutes away, Mystic Aquarium is much more than just tanks of fish. At Mystic Aquarium you will see Beluga whales, Stellar sea lions, and North African penguins. As a centerpiece of southeastern Connecticut, downtown Mystic is known for its unique shops, restaurants, and art galleries. Everywhere you turn you will see the kind of scenic beauty that takes your breath away.
